Moreover, it aims to strengthen the visibility of education as a discipline in the Nordic societies and to provide a platform for Nordic researchers as well as collaboration between them and the international community.<\/p>\n<p>NFPF\/NERA, founded in 1972, has established itself as a meeting place for educational researchers in the Nordic countries. The core activities of the Association involve holding an annual, peer-reviewed conference, production of the journal<span>\u00a0<\/span><em>Nordic Studies of Educational Research<\/em><span>\u00a0<\/span>as well supporting the ongoing work of the constituent networks.<\/p>\n<p>NERA is open for everyone that has an interest in educational research in the Nordic context. The association is based on membership and decision-making is following democratic rules. Each network is maintained by one or several convenors. <a href=\"https:\/\/nfpf.net\/networks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Description of the different networks, contact info for the convenors as well as links to the networks own website can be found here.<\/a><\/p>\n[\/et_pb_toggle][et_pb_toggle title=&#8221;Chair&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.6&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; custom_margin=&#8221;-20px||10px|||&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]\n<p>As a chair, you are asked to be present in your session room at least 10 minutes before the session starts to help the presenters to connect their own computers etc. The role of the chair is to introduce the presenters, keep the time schedule for each presenter and organize the discussion. It is important that every participant keeps their time allotment.
